How to use Snowmen for Christmas decor on my deck?

I have 5 snowmen heads that I would to use as part of a Christmas scene on my deck. I am going to use my different size and height tomato stands as trees.

The heads are hollow so that I could place lights in them but that is the only thing that I can think of. I don't if they could be placed up high other than sitting on the deck.

Any creatived ideas would be great.

Thank you

Hello. If you have any tall urn planters you could put the snowmen on those to have them up higher.

  • Make topiaries with them. I can seem them in Urns as Amanda suggested but then add some other items, like some large ornaments and greenery.

Place them on top of a large fish bowl. Inside the fish bowl place some fake snow and a few winter figurines like a deer, some cut branches as trees. The ideas are endless to fit with what style you like.

Stuff 2 different size white trash bags with leaves or store bags to make bodies and put the heads on top.

If the heads are not very heavy you could make full snowmen of different sizes out of large Styrofoam balls. You could also cover the balls if you want with fabric for whatever look your going for (floral, brights, burlap), tinsel garland or spray with a glitter paint. Probably want to attach the head in some way, maybe by drilling a small hole in the head and inserting a long u-shaped pin through the hole into the Styrofoam ball. Hope this helps!

I would like to share with all you wonderful people on what I finally came up with for my Snowman Heads. I used my wired flower hangers, placed branches from our evergreen tree, placed the head in the basket, placed a whole package of white lights in the back of the head and placed a red bow in the neck area. I hope I was able to attach the pic. I am not computer savvy, so wish me luck

Put a string of clear lights in them and people can see them better if they are lite up. Or give them to a homeless shelter so the have Christmas decoration next year.
