I have a 60" wreath of wooden branches that is warped. Can I reshape?

I have had the wreath for 10 years and it is now oval instead of round. Can I fix it or should I throw it away and start over?

You can try to lightly mist it and reshape it,you have nothing to loose

Soak in kiddy pool or? and after several days it may be pliable enough to temp nail to a piece of plywood to dry in shape you want.

If it were vines I would say soak and reshape. I would try to soak it and put it in a barrel or something for it to dry out that would shape them round again.

  • Leave it oval! Who says a wreath has to be round? I would just freshen it up a bit with some new embellishments and use as is.

You might try soaking it in water (sorry, but I don't know how long it would take) in order to make it flexible and shapeable. You can test it from time to time to determine its flexible. Just push the sides in to try and round it up once it is flexible. Let it dry once you get the shape you want.

If ou get the shape you want, you should try it up to keep it in that shape until it dries. Then remove the ties.

Soak it and use some bungee cords wrapped around the long oval part to squish it back the other way. If you don't have a kiddy pool maybe a hose and a tarp. Soak it and wrap on a warm day outside. It may create a steamy moisture environment.
