I was gifted an old plant pot and decided to give it a little makeover :)
It was just a plain beige pot with an orange interior and I pencilled out a rough idea for the design I wanted to paint onto the pot
I painted this black and white design around the top to get me started and then continued from there, adding more black and white designs as I went
I then added leafy designs to the pot either side of the black and hite stripes i put on opposite sides of the pot
I then painted one half of the pot blue and the other half pink
This video shows you the full process and the pot in full 360 degrees!
The final step once the blue and pink paint was dried was to add a white mandala pattern onto the pot
I added a few more black details and then coated the pot in 2 layers of matte clear varnish

That turned out beautifully! I don't have much drawing ability but I do have a nice collection of stencils to add more design. I'm definitely going to try this soon.
