Is there an additive to change eggshell finish paint to glossy finish?

I bought latex paint for my living room and don't like the "flat" finish now.
Thanks!

I would add a clear coat using a roller, or just re-paint with a semi-gloss.

Nothing you can add. You will just need to repaint. Depending where you bought the paint and have some left over some stores will replace the paint free of charge if you don't like the paint or color.

William is right - most stores want you to be happy with their paint. Another coat of paint in the finish you want would be needed. Just remember the more shine/gloss, the more any imperfections will show.

No additives needed. Just pain your latex right over the eggshell.

Latex is the type of paint. Eggshell is the finish along with satin, gloss and flat.

Gloss for your living room could be a little much. Satin might be a good compromise between flat and gloss.

They use to make a product that you added to your paint that made it possible. It worked great. Ask at paint store.

Wait 30 days before you make this change. A new paint job in something you're not used to can be "off". If you still want a semi-gloss just paint glaze over it or as everyone else suggested buy a new can of semi-gloss.
