My daughter has a galaxy bed set. The top sheet is silky and keeps falling off of her bed.
So her idea was born. A curtain.
It's not a new idea but one she came up with to repurpose this material. She choose to not cut it at this time.
It will then pull her room together matching her bedspread.
I love that she is coming up with her own ideas and then I say, hey let me get a photo of that!
We are having fun thinking of the next thing
Get out your measuring tape and pins. Measure the thickness of your rod and do a little more than double that size if it's a round rod so you have enough room.
This is a queen sheet.
Make your pocket by sewing. We used a machine to make it go faster With slippery material it's important to go slow so it does not snag. Pins help, just don't sew over them.
Do you see the tiny alien in the photo? Message below if you do.
The finished project hung up. She choose to use her curtains she had up to add fullness.

It looks like a real galaxy in there. The white curtains she had add fullness and bring out the white in the sheet. Since it's a pattern of the sky and is silky it's really pretty.
You can use sheets, tapastry material and anything that will hang up.
In my room I use old necklaces for the tie backs. You can clip and it's pretty. Wrap it around a few times if it's a long necklace or use a bracelet too.
