I've seen this a lot on Pinterest with detailed instructions

It would be a lot less complicated to make Roman shades from scratch than trying to convert mini blinds.... There are patterns by McCall's and Simplicity with complete instructions. Youtube should also have complete tutorials on how to do this. Pinterest will also be great help with instructions and ideas
