    Is this at the top of the shower wall? Or is this at the bottom of the shower just above the shower pan that you stand on? Once we know that we can help. Thanks!

    This is the top of the shower. I had the same problem, so I sprayed it ALL OVER with NON-DILUTED CLOROX. Yes, Clorox! If this area has gotten wet, then mold could grow. I let that dry for a few days. Then I bought a sheet of the ceramic tile-look wall board. It looks like tile, but is a thin sheet. I had HD cut it to my measurements, applied liquid nails to the back and put it over the shower top and sides. I then caulked ALL angles and ends with regular caulk, but if I had known about this caulk from Amazon: SASHCO 13080 Lexel Synthetic Rubber, I would have used that instead.
