Christmas wreathes can be as simple or as full as you like. Some have a simple bow with a few decorations from the dollar store like red berry on a stick or miniature pine cones. These are added to the wreath near the bow. Or you can cover a green garland wreath all the way around with miniature wire lace ribbon rolled like miniature tubes, miniature pine cones, golden curled wires, and poinsettas or bells, or what ever you prefer. Look in the stores at the ones for sale and get an idea of how they placed the decorations on the wreath, the themes they used etc. If your family is partial to garden trolls, for example, miniature toy trolls could be all around the wreath, or miniature trains, or candy canes, feathers, miniature tree bulbs, or what ever theme YOU prefer. Look through catalogs and get an idea and adapt it to what you want. You will need some supplies of floral wire, hot glue gun, or longer twisty ties from large garbage bags etc. Have fun and do one you like. Go from there. Some people use vine type wreathes, some garland wreaths (real or fake) and some straw stuffed (don't remove the plastic to decorate that kind). The ribbons will depend on your colors for your house or your colors for Christmas. I have a friend that likes everything pink! I love the reds, greens, and golds combined. So make it like you want it but borrow another's ideas in grouping etc from what you see. AFter you do a few, you will undoubtedly have your own ideas to make the rest.

Buy foam or straw wreath forms. Add pine branches, pine cones, berries, etc for a natural look. Or add Christmas ornaments and a pretty ribbon for more color. Use burlap in puffs to make a rustic look. There are lots of creative ways to decorate them!
