This is a super easy fall craft that you can make at the last minute and it would make a lovely centerpiece for your Thanksgiving tablescape.
We live in Florida and that means we have to prepare for hurricane season every June through November. We can never have enough candles in case the electricity goes out and it certainly happened this past season when hurricane Irma decided to change paths directly hitting central Florida. My little fall craft came in handy.
Gather your supplies. Be sure to use glass that has a smooth surface opposed to something with raised design and letters. This will help the adhesive letters to adhere properly. Also, be sure your glass is heat resistant.
Decide what you want your design to say. (I had three jars so thought Happy Fall Y'all would be perfect). Stick on the letters to the dry glass surface area. Be sure to purchase adhesive letters that don't say permanent. Stickers are different than adhesive letters and will be more difficult to peel off.
Spray paint the entire glass surfaces with a frosted spray paint. It dries rather quickly but just to make sure wait at least 20-30 minutes if you want to apply a second coat. Once completely dry, you can peel off the letters. Next, wrap your ribbon or raffia around the top of the candles for decoration. Add your tea candles and you have yourself a quick and easy Fall candle craft.
