DIY ornaments are always so much fun to make! Adding a little sparkle and bling with glitter makes them even prettier. Who doesn't love glitter? You may also be surprised with what we put in them to hold onto the glitter, and just how easy they are to make.
Grab a bottle of any brand CLEAR floor polish.
Clear ornaments. You can use glass or plastic, this will work on both. I found mine at the Dollar Tree and Joann's for a very reasonable price.
remove the cap of the ornaments and squirt in a small amount of liquid floor cleaner. About a tablespoon or so. Swirl the liquid around the bulb to cover the entire inside. Pour the excess back into the floor cleaner bottle. I do let it sit upside down for about a minute, so the excess has a chance to run out.
Using a paper cone or a funnel, pour in a generous amount of extra fine glitter. Swirl it around to cover the entire inside of your ornament. Again, dump the excess back into the bottle. No need for waste!
Add your favorite holiday stickers and a bow for a personalized glitter ornament everyone will love.
