Any way to cover the brass colored stuff in between the glass?

You could try masking off all the glass and spraying the metal with a different color....or if you have a steady hand, you could use a small craft brush and paint it on from a can of paint.

You might be able to change the color with one of the new metallic paints. I think it's pretty, but, I have a beautiful lead glass front door and wouldn't change it for anything. Good luck! P.S. I think they are called glazing bars.

You have a beautiful leaded glass window that I would be overjoyed to own. Gold tones are back "in" - you could paint it if it really bugs you.

Well, you might be surprised to know that brass and gold decor is making a huge comeback. The old super shiny brass not so much but the dulled finish is very chic.

Your leaded window is lovely. If the lead colour really bothers you, a Sharpie permanent marker in black, gold, silver or any other colour will work.

What you have is a leaded Window to your door. Whilst you do not like it there are are many that would. Try to sell it and buy a new door more to your taste.
