What color is good border color for a painted teal rug with big flow

    Hello Jean! Teal looks super with white. I have a rug with teal and white and it is my favorite. Often, though, the colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel go well together. The color opposite teal on the wheel is coral.

    looks like it has white or off white in the rug. This would definitely make it stand out. If you're worried about it getting dirty, id choose one of the darker plum/maroon colors.

    I have teal in my bedroom and I used navy and sheer print curtains in shades of blue and white. It looks like a spa.

    Pick one of the other colors already in the rug.

    Depending on the other colors in your room where you are using the rug, I would go with one of the colors in the rug. If you need a pop of color, I would go with deep yellow,

    I have teal and cobalt blue in my kitchen. Everybody loves it.

    Black always makes a nice border and will anchor a room. Every room should have something black to anchor it. Looks like there may be black in the rug. But, it really depends on the look you are going for. I think bringing out another color in the rug is a good idea as well.
