Want to know how to stain wood like a pro? Well, in this Doing it with jason video i will show you how to apply stain to wood. It is super easy and the results are professional. You can use this diy wood stain method on just about anything. From adding stain to cabinets, to stain wood furniture, even for staining wood furniture. This basic staining technique is very universal. My favorite easy to get stain is made by rustoleum and is called varathane. You can find it almost anywhere. If you have any trouble staining your wood, please comment below and i would be more than happy to help. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe!

First, you want to choose your stain. I recommend Varathane by Rust-Oleum for quality and it's easy to find.

You really want to take your time sanding the wood. Start with 80 grit and then use 120 grit. Any higher really isn't helpful.

I generally always use a rag to apply. You can use a brush in hard to reach areas. Generally wipe with the grain and try not to stop in the middle of a run.

Apply the stain liberally.

Wipe off the stain completely. Do not leave it on!!
