Velcro! Use a washable glue to attach strip (s) of velcro and fold over.
Cut magnets off of your bottom, cut each one separately and glue or put in your new hem.
Make a Fold Down Hem about 6" from bottom...................
shorten the liner from the top... and make new holes for the rings (if you fold it over sever times it will prevent the holes from tearing out.
You could fold the liner and then glue it.
i would say any kind of craft glue would work. If all else fails, E-6000 will work. Make sure you seal the edges with glue so water can't get inside and allow mold to start growing.
