    white vinegar in a bit of water then in a spray bottle spray on it every two weeks

    Water well. That will flush the scent away.

    That intense smell is a cat marking. After you've gotten rid of the smell, invest in a motion detection sprinkler and set it in that area. Cat will soon learn it's not welcome there.

    Mix 1/4 C of baking soda to a gallon of water and spray it on the grass with a sprayer. The baking soda will not only neutralize the ammonia smell of cat pee but is nutritious for your grass.

    do not use vinegar it will kill the lawn.a gallon of water to two tablespoons of baking soda

    The vinegar may kill whatever you have to spray, so take care around any living plants or grass.
