Looking for a beautiful and inexpensive centerpiece for Thanksgiving? With a little makeover of Dollar Tree pumpkins, you can make your Thanksgiving table extra festive!

Start out with some dollar store pumpkins - they are the carvable kind.
Paint them using metallic colors. I used a copper, gold and green.
Using a stapler, I stapled four popsicle sticks together. You can glue them, but I was going for a rustic look and therefore liked the staples showing.
When they are together, paint them orange.
I cut out Happy Thanksgiving out of vinyl, with my Circut, but you can make it with any cutting machine. I stuck them onto the wood sign.
Tip: If you don't have a cutting machine, or when you are finished painting everything, then you can stencil on the words.
Once you apply the letters to the sign, paint over them with the same orange paint.
Once dry, paint over everything with the colors that were used on the pumpkin.
Once dry, remove the letters.
Glue a stick onto the back of the sign.
Insert the signs into the pumpkins.
Add fake fall leaves to the top of the pumpkins. I inserted the stems, but poked a hole first with a thin screwdriver.
Twirl wire around the handle of a paint brush, or pencil.
Add them into the pumpkins too!
