How do make hanging plant holder that dont leak

    Incorporate a pot saucer into the hanger beneath the pot, and water very slowly so it has time to absorb the water.

    I line mine with a plastic grocery bag and then put a coffee filter in the bottom before adding dirt and a plant

    I agree with Sharon. Otherwise you need to water less, and slowly to not have the water come out, or put it in the sink or over the tub and let it drain, then hang it back up.

    you can get a plastic saucer gizmo that actually attaches to the hanging planter. I got mine at Home Depot.

    Water the plants more often with less water and do it slower. Also a saucer to catch the extra water is good. Some people use self waters. They look like a vase turned upside down. They are supposed to release water only when needed.
  • I take the plants out and water in the kitchen sink, when dry, replace. They also sell plastic drip trays you can use.
