Subway tile is a more sophisticated way to add color to the walls of your bathroom. Used since the early 1900s, subway tile is also easy to clean and is sanitary, perfect for a bathroom. Here are some of our favorite bathrooms that use subway tile to brighten the bathroom. Can I retire the bottom of the shower without pulling up the old tile? There are no leaks or problems but the previous owner has too many colors going on in one shower space. The floor tiles don’t match any of the colors in the rest of the room.
