Shabby Chic Garden and Decor

Just a few pics of my Shabby Chic garden from 2013. I hope to add more this year and make a few improvements. Finishing the picket fence is top of the list. Adding more perennials to the outer plant beds as well. I would like to add more cottage flowers as well as flowers that bloom later in the summer and fall for color all year. My favorite part is harvesting veggies and herbs, as well as sometimes fruit and cut flowers through the summer months. I also love to add little garden decor and am always looking for fun little trinkets to place here and there.
Check out more pics at my website!! Thanks for viewing!
My little Shabby garden. My bodice grows clematis vines, and hopefully this year will be larger and have fuller blooms.
I love day lilies. I have collected quite a few varieties over the years and would like to add another perennial in these beds to add late summer color.
Just a cute shot of my friendly little garden deer.
Flowering vines are a great way to add impact and height in gardens.
I plant herbs, vegetables, flowers and climbing vines to add interest.

I'll bet your 'bodice' is really cool! You could always add in the odd annual vine to fill it out, cutting it back again as the climatis comes along. Ours love to be deeply mulched along with the rambling roses!
