What should I do refinish floors or paint walls first

    I would suggest starting with the walls. Remove the baseboard molding first and don't replace it until you finish the floors. That way if you do have spilled paint or drips, you can wipe them up.

    always start from top work down -- paint first, that way, any "drops" on floor will be sanded out prior to refinishing the floors.

    paint, refinish then touch up paint.

    Paint first that way if you drip your ok
    Make sure paint is good and drty before doing floor.

    definitely paint walls first. Somehow some paint always ends up where you don't want it and I would hate for some to end up on your newly refinished floors.

    start at the area furthest from the door..paint your self out of the room
