Repurpose 4x6 ceramic tile

I have some stone 4x6 ceramic pieces left from a backsplash, what can I do with them? Their look is of neutral colors like stone.

I would go shopping at thrift and dollar stores to find a tray or baking sheet that is the same size or just a little bigger than one of the multiples of your tiles.
18” x 24”; 12” x 16”; etc. Glue the tiles in, without grout. Glue twine or thin rope around the edges. Spray or brush on a poly sealer on the twine and other parts that are not ceramic to make cleaning easier and keep out rust. Use as a large trivet, fruit and cheese tray, or bathroom toiletries tray. Just one idea. 😇
Use them for coasters or under plants that would leave a ring.

Put a piece of felt on the bottom and use them as hot pads on your table.
You can use them as decorative coasters- a god stocking stuffer gift :)
