Most hardware stores have covers or can help you with an idea to cover one
Whole house or window air conditioner? You can purchase one, or use plastic painter sheets and wrap them like a present and tie with string.
I've got 4 window AC's and got tired of taking them out every fall/winter. I got some heavy duty plastic sheeting (you can get clear or black) and used duct tape (there's so many colors to choose from these days) to secure them. I folded the corners to make it nice and neat, and left plenty of plastic at the window to be sure I had enough to seal the window nicely. Those AC units let in a lot of cold air if they're not covered well! Good luck!

Blue trap at walmart, put rope through eyelets and wrap around the air conditioner, tie off. A cheap fix- Cost about $5.00 to $10.00
