They make sheet grips. They are a strip of elastic with a clip at each end. Put the sheet on. Attach the grip to one side of the corner, run the elastic under the mattress and attach the other grip to the other side of the sheet. This keep the sheet from coming off of the corner.

I sewed elastic on the 4 corners of my sheets. I measured 12 inches of elastic for each corner. Placing the ends 12 inches on either side of the corner seam on the fitted sheet.Works great!
I put the mattress garters or grips on before I put the bottom sheet on. I spread the garters several inches away from the corner. That gives more elastic underneath to hold the bottom sheet in place. I can’t find my other set of grips, but I use them on the mattress cover. If the pockets on your sheet are not deep enough for the mattress, you may have to sew a longer piece of elastic in each corner instead of grips. 😇
I don't use them but I know that you can purchase sheet "garter belts". They are made exactly for this purpose. They are also inexpensive.
Not sure size of bed or sheets. If it is twin bed ,there is extra long twin beds and look for e.l. on sheets. Or king size beds come bigger called California king beds. Look for cal.king size sheets.
if you can sew on a sewing machine you could pleat the edge, this would make it gather. There for making it fit snug.
I always make the beds this way: put one corner of fitted sheet on and then place cattycorner corner on the bed. Do not try to make the bed doing top corners or bottoms corners first. Hope this makes sense.
I have an adjustable bed which I adjust every night. The fitted sheet always came off until I sewed a 12 inch length if 3/4 inch elastic 12 inches from the corner seam. You have to stretch the existing elastic to measure properly. Be sure to sew across the elastic ends several times.
