Upcycled Trunk With Upholstered Seat

This is my latest upcycle project. I bought this trunk from its original owner who used to take it to camp when she was a girl. Now, with its upholstered seat and new feet, it can just relax because you'll never want it to leave home.
The C.W. Nocturne Trunk
The upholstered bench seat was made from a piece of plywood cut to fit on top of the trunk, a 2" thick piece of foam, and a couple of layers of batting. A piece of upholstery weight textured fabric, that has a bit of an animal hide look to it, tops it off.
The inside was re-papered with sheet music. I used mod podge for this. Tip: dampen the paper with a paint brush and water before you glue it down and you'll get fewer wrinkles.
The faux hardwood finish on the new feet is just brown paint thinned with a tiny bit of water.
The piping is just a strip of fabric with a piece of rope folded into it. Tutoral here-----------http://destinationsvintage3.blogspot.com/2012/12/easy-pipingfor-pro-upholstered-look.html
