What paint did you use. When painting the bathroom moisture control paint should be used

Did you paint an oil base paint over a water base paint without priming the wall first? This could cause the bubbles.

Did you prime before painting? Did you let the paint dry for a couple days before showering. Also, did you use semi gloss?

I had this happen before. I talked to a salesperson at the paint store, she said I didn't allow the paint "cure" long enough before I showered. I scraped the new paint off, let the walls dry and started over with a good primer, re-painted and let the walls cure for a week before I showered. No problems since.

Ventilation is needed or you did just paint the walls.
