I would go and start picking out various elbows and T’s and lay them out on the floor to make the shape of a headboard minus the straight pieces. Take a tape measure with you and lay it out to size. Pick parts that you like for feet. Then measure how much straight stuff you need. If it’s metal pipe, you will need an NPT die and die tool the size of your pipe and a way to cut the pipe.
Then put it together!
