Stove top cemented grease

Old Viking gas stove with years of baked on grease on the range top. Have tried several things. Suggestions? Is there any hope?

    Hello maybe try with a paste of baking soda / dish washing soap & vinegar after it dries off / you could maybe scrape it off ??

    Get out the HazMat suit and use Heavy Duty Easy Off.

    We had such a problem and bought a Turbo scrubber. They take all the hard work out and can be used for many areas of the home and even on the tires on the car. They are worth every penny. It should work for you. We ordered ours online but you can get them at Walmart now and probably other stores.

    Try professional paint remover with a heat gun PLENTY of ventilation ! ! ! Ty on an isolated area first to see if any "paint" is removed. . . Follow the instructions carefully. . . .
