Triple Christmas Wreath

Hi, I'm Liz from SimpleDecoratingTips.com. This year we've just moved into a Mid-century house we're totally renovating into a Colonial Revival style... so as exciting as that is, sadly it means not much for Christmas decor, including mantel displays and wreaths. Therefore, I'm going over my Christmas decor from years past, (and houses past too! This is our 3rd house in 4 years!)

Time: 1 Hours Cost: $100 Difficulty: Easy
Our last house was a 100 year old charmer that we fully renovated. The front porch was huge and wonderful. Here are the triple wreaths I did at the front door with a deer theme... ( be sure to check out the other deer themed decorating I did both inside and outside that year!)
I used the same plaid ribbon, bought several spools... and used it for porch tree, these wreaths and even inside on the embellished deer antlers! (you can find that post on my blog too!)

Since the door was full glass, I thought a longer wreath display fit it better. For the wreaths to hang this way, I just simple tied them with long loops of the plaid ribbon. Then the top wreath got hung on the wreath hanger. I did make sure that the ribbon I used has wired sides for strength.
The cute black deer ornaments were the perfect tie-in for the deer theme.
The 3 wreaths are a metallic champagne gold and I love the way they look... can go vintage or modern...
Here is a simple drawing I made to show you how to make a florist bow! It really is super simple... using wire to hold it all together is the key.

The black deer and black 'Merry Christmas' banner over the door tie in with the rest of the black accents on the porch.
