When at home 68 in the day time and 62 at night. When nobody is home 65. If you have a programmable thermostat it will take care of changing the temps for you. Just set it once and it should do the rest.

If you mean Fahrenheit, I set mine at 65 when no one is home. Electronic thermostats make it much easier. I have mine programmed for different times of day.

Dear Ruth, Electric heating I am not familiar with but I do know that there is an assisted program concerning a heat pump for electrically run heating in Northern Ontario. I was just informed of the Ontario Electricity Support Program too, that may have information for you. Hope that is a start and just ask for more if needed.

The electric company here in the Dallas, Texas, area tells us 65 winter/85 summer. So we flip it to 85/65! Not really, but we keep our thermostat in the 70s year round. 73 winter/78 summer, unless we have a house full of company. 😇
