pure unpasteurized honey and lemon juice from a lemon (not reconstituted juice), mix equal parts and take one-two tablespoons as needed to ease sore throat ZINC lozenges also can be used at the same time ...I find these very effective and the sore throat is usually gone within a day or two.
Drink pineapple juice. It is great for cough and sore throat. Also, mix 1/4 tsp cinnamon with 1 Tbs honey and take it 2-3 times per day like cough syrup.....It helps to soothe sore throat.
Raw honey, pure lemon juice with a bit of cinnamon, and cloves, add hot water and drink slowly....very soothing....
Whiskey, lemon and honey....just before bed. Not sure of amounts but not a whole lot..all recipe of my grandmothers.
Zinc lozenges work the best.
MIX TOGETHER: 1/2 CUP APPLE VINEGAR, 1/2 CUP WATER, 1 TSP. CAYENNE PEPPER, AND 3 TABLESPOONS HONEY. SIP MIXTURE OCCASIONALLY. HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU.
You can mix one-quarter teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water. (Use the warmest water you can stand). Gargle with this mixture. It should ease the pain a bit.
