    Hi Mike. We I live you have to take them to a recycling center, and pay to dispose of them. I would check on your cities website and see.

    Check to see if your community has a hazardous waste collection day. Both contain dangerous substances. Call your government offices.

    My city has a curbside trash pick up once a month for large items such as this where they recycle them. Check with your local city hall.

    Do they still work? if so run a FREE: YOU PICK UP ad on craigslist or donate to a charity thrift shop for resale and a tax deduction.

    If you live in a place where you pay to collect your trhas just call them for picking up tho items
