Try the local Habitat store. I think a pretty glass panel door would look nice. You could put some gallery glass on the glass panels to hide what's inside.

  • Looks easy enough to replace the door, matching the paint will be the trick. Check all local suppliers first, and check with local cabinet makers. If you need to order, this link will help you out.

I'd use a spring tension rod and some pretty fabric to disguise that open space until you get a new door made, Connie.

Take one of the other cabinet doors off and take it and the measurements for a new door to a woodworker. They should be able to copy your cabinets fairly precisely.

How bout a sliding barn door. Very practical and very nice looking.

If you are on a budget, due to this time of year & the recent home purchase, I would contact the local Builders Association.

Most cities have a place for extra items/ pieces when demolishing houses, buildings, etc. Like a car junkyard, only household items.

There are many things that are still in great shape, a waste to throw away. Cupboard doors, drawer pulls, sink fixtures, etc— all things that could have a great 2nd life & cost half as much if you bought them new (maybe even less).

Save your money to get a bigger fridge! Lol.

Good save. Sounds good. There were cabinet doors in our attic from having the dishwasher installed.

I saw where someone used one of those old decorative screen doors and it was really cute. You can see in a little so you would have to keep things neat, but it would be worth it.

I just did a similar thing for the linen closet in my bathroom, and it was easy to make, stain and hang in one afternoon. I used five $1 cabinet hinges to hang it, some cheap wood from Lowe's, and I think 15 screws to out it all together. It's so cute and it works great!!

    Hello,

Check out places like eBay and other used items outlets such as demolition or kitchen stores. Best of luck. If you can't find the exact door, go for a contrast or use a pain door with an external trim to match existing doors.
