What is the best way to get rid of mealy bugs on my desert rose?

    You need to repot it in fresh cactus soil and spray it down with horticultural soap

    I always used a spray bottle filled with diluted dishwashing soap, vinegar & water and sprayed my roses. Not too much dishwashing soap...I'd day 1/2 a tablespoon depending on the size of your spray bottle and equal parts plain white vinegar & water.

    Also works if you have aphids

    You can try blasting them off with some water as well. If they got into the soil though, you should consider repotting.

    Desert rose has mealybugs, so e sugessted equal parts vinegar and water with some dawn detergent; isnt thst the same formula for killing weeds?
