DIY re-do marble bathroom sink top?

I have a long blush pink and cream sink top. It's maybe 14 years old. Still in pretty good shape, except for minor surface scratches. Anyone know of really good painting ideas or glazing? Looking for something really different and spectacular.

That's exactly what I found after posting...that Giani White Diamond for counters. I wondered how I could get more sparkle too! Actualy was thinking of asking a stone supply company if they had any ground white sparkle stone. So thanks so much for all the info!
