If you already have the pictures you want to hang, decide which ones would go better in which room and put them together. Take the pictures to that room and decide which you will group on what wall. Lay them on the floor and arrange them using the space you will use on the wall. If you want to you can mark the area on the floor with tape so you are using the same size space. You can measure the space between the pictures if you want it exact. I would recommend taking a picture of it in case you get called away before you can hang them or hang only some of them. I hope this helps! Have a great Holiday season!
Cut paper the size of the photos/art. Tape on walls where you think it should go. Take a couple of days and look at the places and move/leave in place. Then hang. "Just getting it done" will have you moving things around or being completely dissatisfied with what you've done.
If shopping at a gallery is not in your budget - I found some amazing original art finds (valuable too) at resale stores, estate sales, thrift stores even consignment shops. Prices of framed art are astonishing don’t even cover the cost of the frame or mat glass. Another idea is to buy these second hand frames with the mats and glass and place in your own art or photo in there to save money. You can even spray paint frames the same color to match.
I have also bought some art on eBay direct from the artist. Display what you love. Good luck outfitting your walls.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I will use them all and hope to be finished by Christmas! Merry Christmas to you all!
Start by buying several photo frames, that are different in the amount of pictures they can hold. Vertical, square, horizontal, what ever. Put the pictures that seem to go in one frame, and so on. Next, hang all the frames, in some kind of uniform on the wall. Keep the spaces even.
