Inspired by “The Year Without A Santa Claus” make a festive hostess gift with just a few craft supplies!! Create Heat Miser and Snow Miser with your favorite wine or spirit bottles.
I used a blue bottle for the Snow Miser character and a yellow bottle for the Heat Miser character.
Felt in red and blue for the collars.
Faux fur in yellow and orange for the Heat Miser‘s hair.
Trace the lid on the felt.
Use a pencil to mark the felt. Draw a larger outer circle and cut out.
From here you can shape the collar.
Make “V” shape cuts around the outside of the circle to create a collar.
Place the collar over the bottle and slide it down the neck.
Using the faux fur, cut a piece of yellow and orange long enough to fit around the cap.
The yellow and orange will create the hair. Overlap the pieces and secure them together with a few lines of hot glue.
Once the glue has set, wrap the cap in the hair and secure with a few dots of hot glue.
The Heat Miser Bottle is complete.
Create a blue collar in the same fashion as the red collar was made. Slide the blue collar in place.
Using light blue felt, cut a scarf for the bottle. Add fringe to the ends with scissors. Tie on the scarf and glue a large white Pom Pom atop the cap of the blue bottle.

Here are the two “ brothers“ from the holiday special... “The Year Without A Santa Claus“!! Heat Miser and Snow Miser are the perfect additions to your next holiday party.
