Can anyone repair an old VHS player ? I have lots of tapes.

    It may be easier to look for a used one at a thrift shop, Craig's list, garage sale. You may also consider a combination DVD / VCR. Put the word out with friends, family - someone may have one taking up space. You may even get it for free. It may cost more to fix than getting one used. Remember to donate such things even if you may not want it yourself. There are still tons of old Disney VCR tapes , as well as family videos which people may want to watch.

    Do you have any Goodwill or thrift shops near by.they sell these and the prices are reasonable...probably a lot less than repair. Around here they are all under 10.00

    Check your local tv repair shop. My friend owns one and he repairs them.

    They have VHS players at thrift stores. I needed one for the grandkids and our Disney tapes i didn’t want to rebuy on dvd.
