The best way to remove wallpaper (in my humble opinion) is steam.
I've used chemicals and it they're messy. Plus, they sometimes don't work all that well.
A few years back we bought a wallpaper steamer. IT IS AWESOME!!!

Would this method work if the wallpaper is on drywall? I ask because I don’t want to accidentally wet and scrape off the drywall paper. Thank you Eric

Would a Shark hand mop steamer from a Shark steam mop work? I know it would be a bit more awkward, but that's what I have.)

    Thanks!

If you can, loosen an edge of the top vinyl (pattern), start pulling up and out. I've removed the entire strip of pattern this way. Then, using a sponge or spray, wet the backing paper , let set a few minutes, scrape off. I always start at the bottom to get that edge loose, have to scrape a little to get started

I'm not sure this will work for me. My house has bamboo wallpaper which seems to be somewhat thicker. Anyone with textured wallpaper removal ideas. I really don't want to damage the wall behind if I don'thave to. Please advise.
