How to get rid of bug infestation in my dry pasta packages
Very small black or dark bugs in pantry, unopened cellophane wrapped or paper packages. Can you identify and advice?
Since there are several ways to accomplish this, both natural and chemical, I will send you this whole page to choose from.

Call an exterminator that specializes in this - a huge job and has to be done correctly or they come back.
I beg to differ. First of all fleas and bedbugs are both blood sucking creatures HOWEVER they are 2 different insects, both unwanted and pesky. And secondly if you do have a flea infestation THERE are ways and DIY ways to rid them from your pets and your home. Fleas do not like lemon, apple cider vinager, etc. There are many ways to chemically free get rid of these little buggers. But to answer your question Beverly, the best way to rid of bed bugs is to toss out the infested mattress/couch/rug etc. Anything else that can be bagged such as clothing or stuffed animals and secured in an AIRTIGHT plastic bag can be frozen(yes ❄️) if you have a deep freezer available. Also double bagging clothing and washing in hot cycle. Remove the inner bag when cycle finishes and toss it. When you vacuum empty your vacuum bag outside in a plastic bag and tie it up before you dispose of it. Also invest in a mattress cover and one for your box spring if your able to keep them. Bed bugs love to travel and will hitch an ride from an unsuspecting taxi to feast on fresh blood. Years ago we moved from an apartment and bought a condo. We had a neighbor who was a bachelor and apparently had no home training. We had cockroaches and although we had our apartment sprayed once a month for years we still carried them with us to our new home. After a year of Orkin managing our pest problem we have been bug free for over 3 years. Good luck to you.
Get the mattresses out of there!!! Bed bugs burrow too deep inside to get rid of them totally. Get a guarantee from new mattress place that . your new mattresses have no bed bugs. Enclose the mattresses in an envelope (total)) covering type covering. Be careful when you travel not to bring any home with you. The better hotels don't have a problem.
I know someone that had to remove wall paper, as they had gotten behind the wall paper, as well as remove wall to wall carpet. They also had to dispose of furniture and bed linens. Consider the bombs that are used for other insects is cost is a factor.
Raid in the purple can. It is for fleas and bedbugs. Has a nice scent. About 6 dollars a can. Read instructions before use.
Better hotels DO have problems. Humans bring them in. To save money the airlines are no longer spraying their luggage hold areas or passenger cabins, so all kinds of bugs are being transported around the world. So beware, and bug-proof yourself And your home.
