This is a continuation of my Making Shade post. Solar string lights are just fun and make a little pop of color for the holiday or any day.
Half the space will be worked on this spring. We wanted a little bit of light for our dogs with out attracting all of the bugs. String lights work great. Use them any place you want soft light or a little color.
Cup hooks work great for things you want to hang, but also want to be able to take down when needed.
Put the hooks where you want.
Hang your lights.
If you have issues with drainage like we do, you wont want to stake your solar panel in the ground.
The stake fits just right in a hook.
I mounted mine for afternoon sun. Water problem solved. It's also easier to change the lighting options with it up higher.
Simple and cheap. The lights come on ever day at dusk and last well in to the night. Small touches will add up to make any space more friendly and fun.
