Beer Bottle Menorah

4 Materials
4 Hours

I had way too many beer bottles waiting around to be re-purposed, so when December rolled around I knew what I'd use some for! Here's how in two steps I made a DIY Menorah for Hanuka.

First, I soaked the bottles in soapy water so I'd be able to remove the labels easily.

Once the labels were removed, I gathered my two supplies: glue and spray paint!

Tip: I wanted to achieve the crackle effect, so I first brushed on a layer of Elmer's glue and let it sit for about 30 seconds, then I applied the spray paint!

The crackling doing it's magic!

And with just a bit of handy dandy washi tape, my menorah is complete!

Wendy, this is such a cute idea! Think I'll go get some Bud Light that comes in blue bottles. Thanks for sharing with us.
