Slugs and Snails can destroy a garden in an evening! Caffeine may be your morning medicine but it's Kryptonite to these heavy feeders. When they come in contact with coffee grounds, the caffeine is absorbed by their soft bodies which is completely poisonous to them. Heck, you can enjoy your morning java AND kill your garden enemies all at the same time... talk about a 2fer ;)

Aphids love some plants more than others but don't let this be the reason you won't plant them! Coffee grounds are great (clean out your K-cups) and crushed egg shells( slugs especially don't like the sharp shells)
