Ways to make pegboard pretty?

I want to hang pegboard in my kitchen but want it to be attractive. Any ideas how to accomplish that? Thanks!

Cut to size, paint of choice & frame it behind it so it sticks out from wall so you can use hooks. You can frame front like a picture frame & paint to match or a different color. Good luck.
paint the pegboard to match the rest of the walls, put a frame around it, paint a design on it
