This project is a fabulous, printable 2018 calendar with a customizable stand. That's right! You can make a quick and easy stand for your calendar in minutes. This would be a great, personal gift idea! Since it's so simple to make, this could even be used for those last-minute gifts.
Check out the tutorial on our blog for complete instructions for this project. We have so many fun ways to personalize this wooden stand. Did we mention the printables are free, courtesy of Canon?
Start by printing out your calendar pages on a Canon Pixma printer. These beautiful watercolor pages will impress. They are styled for each month.
Next, use a paper cutter, craft knife, cutting mat, and cork-backed ruler to cut out your printables.
Now, it's time to cut your boards to size. We found this was a great way to use up leftover wood from other projects we've completed. A miter saw makes the cuts quick and easy. Once you sand your board, you are ready to customize!
One way to attach your calendar pages is with jute twine. It's quick and cute. Visit our blog to see all the wonderful ideas for attaching your pages.
You may wish to paint, stain, or use another finish on your calendar stand. Attach your clip. We bought our clips at craft stores, but you could also use one from a dollar store clipboard.
One of the many finished calendars! It turned out so cute.

My apologies. My brain has an oddity that makes me say words that are kind of in a like group of words but definitely not the right word! Makes talking with me very confusing sometimes, hehehe. I meant huge calendars not clocks. See, clocks make time, time makes days, days make weeks, weeks make months and voila a calendar is born in my brain! Do have a wonderful laugh with me, hehehehe.
