This pretty book case was restyled by Heidi from Lily Field Furniture with Cheesecake, Liquorice, and Black Wax to give it a classically rich finish!
I am always on the lookout for storage pieces- especially when it comes to books!

Whenever I am lucky enough to come across a glass front bookcase I snatch them up as quickly as I can. This particular cabinet was not doing itself any favors in it’s current state. I knew a bit of paint would class it right up!
For preparation I lightly sanded down all of the surfaces and took off the doors. After cleaning thoroughly I sprayed the inside and the shelves with Cheesecake, the perfect creamy neutral.

Once the inside was dry I taped off the inside section and gave the outside a layer of Liquorice paint. You all know this is my favorite Country Chic Paint color and the best black paint on the market in my opinion! It’s sleek, classic and sophisticated!

For protection I used top coat and then added a layer of black wax to bring out a rich sheen.
