White is always a good way to keep pink bright and cheerful.
Ask the 8 year old! It's her room. She has definite ideas. They may have to be modified a little, but let her choose.
Ask her and let her suggest some ideas of her own
White or pale yellow or pale green would compliment the pink.
I used different size bowls to trace circles on the wall and painted them bright blue, green and purple in chalkboard paint. we leave little notes written in the circles to each other and she loves it!! One wall has them in a tic tax toe pattern. Left the furniture white but painted accents on the bed and dresser to bring it togethe. I got a cheap chandelier and bought a ton of crystals from the craft store to make the room shine! It's my favorite room in the house!
