Four crates, 2ft x 2ft board, wood glue, small screws, small nails, stain, polyurethane sealer...pinterest inspired
Be selective when picking crates, compare the to each other in store.
Arrange crates as such, glue board to the top, hold together with clamps (or ask your niece to sit on it for a few minutes). Screw board to the crates, nail crates together. Add casters to the corners of the board. Flip and you have an unfinished wood table paint or stain as you would like...seal (more than once), put random things on display. There will be a square hole in the middle of the creative.
