It should be from 6' to 10' in diameter, not to heavy. Will be up year round.

Would this be free standing or attached to something else?

It will hang from the top and secured on the bottom.

First, check your city and county ordinances about the type of sign, maximum size, what kind of lighting, and pole or attachment, are allowed. Check building supplies to see what sheet materials are available for the width you want. Otherwise, you will need to bond two or more pieces or boards for the width. You can drill small holes to outline inner and outer lines and insert LED lights, which will cost less year round than other kinds of lights. You have a challenge ahead. Be sure to document with photos and descriptions on Hometalk.com. 😇

For something that large, I would first check with your city or county to see if you are able to do that. I know I would not like to live next door to something that large that lights up at night. So, you might want to check with your neighbors too.

The obvious answer would be wood but that would be heavy. What about chicken wire for the frame cover that with something light that would be water proof?
