If frozen, paraffin wax will crack and break off. Is the cushion a throw cushion that is removable? or is it permanently attached to the sofa? Is the fabric removable? If possible, remove it, put it in the freezer or outside (if you live where it is below freezing) until frozen.

Lay several layers of paper toweling on the wax and go over it with your iron. Keep changing to a clean paper towel until the wax is gone. I've gotten every bit of wax cleaned up that way. Let us know if it works for you.

Try a blow dryer or heat gun, heat it up and peel it off.

Put an ice pack on it until it's frozen or at least VERY cold, then scrape it off with the back of a knife. Repeat if necessary. Once you've gotten off as much as you can, use an iron and a clean cloth to get the rest. Put the cloth over what's left and run an iron over it at med or low heat. Keep moving your cloth to a clean place so that the wax is not put back on the fabric. It may take more than one cloth. Eventually you should be able to get most of it off. You might not be able to get off all of the paraffin, but you should be able to get most of it off. Wishing you the best & Happy Holidays!

Try taking the seat cover off and place in a bag and freeze over night and just use your nail to flick it off this will keep it at the surface📌🎄
