you can sprinkle spice on your nuts screw the bolts.

I think you want to add some extra flavor to some spiced nuts but the bolts were perhaps auto-filled? I think if you spread spiced nuts on a baking sheet, sprinkle some extra spice (like chili powder) and then toast in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, it should work.

I think you can, jwaffle, but it really works better to add additional spices when they're hot.

For everybody else, "nuts and bolts" refers to a Chex mix recipe.

You can also add paprika but the mixture must be warm when doing so.
